THE LAST TIME I SAW HER

The last time I saw her,
I can still see her beautiful smile.
The last I saw her,
She never had been out of my mind.

The last time I saw her,
I was mad because I forgot her name.
The last time I saw her,
I was mad because she forgets what was my name.

The last time I saw her,
She’s told me that she love me.
The last time I saw her
She gives me her hug and she cried at me.

The last time I saw her,
She was sitting at her balcony.
The last time I saw her,
She never had been stop in believing.

Until the last time I saw her
She holds my hand and say thank you for me
Because the last time I saw her
That was the last time she could spend her life living with me.

WHEN I SAY GOODBYE TO YOU

When I say goodbye to you
You never knew how hard to make it through
Loving someone like you
Is the happiest thing that I ever do?

When I say goodbye to you
My heart stop in beating so
You told me that I have to leave you
But what will I do if I still love you?

When I say goodbye to you
You told me that it’s hard for you
But why is it when I look at you
It seems that you’re happy to know that I will finally give up on you

I never see you for almost a year
Thank God, because I finally leave the tears
Now, I found the girl that I will love for the rest of my life
And hopefully, you found yourself in the midst of eternal life.

The Loving Son

You always told me that I’m stupid
And yet, I always look at it as something positive
You always told me that I’m nothing
And yet, I always think that it means nothing

You always make me cry
But because I love you, I just let it dry
You always shouting me
But because I love you, I never felt any pain for you

You always blame me of the negative things in your life
But because you’re my mother, I just ignore that
You always told me that I’m a son of a devil
But because you’re my mother, I just take it as something unreal

Now that you’re birthday is near to come
I want to leave you this poem that really get from the bottom of my heart
Now that you’re birthday is near to come
I want to leave you with a beautiful smile

Don’t think that the reason why I hang myself in the ceiling
Is because I’m already tired of caring for you
The reason why I choose to leave you
Is because I truly love you
Happy birthday mom

The Cold Christmas

I was dreaming of a white snow
Together with a cold blow
It was really a very beautiful night
With the stars the was really bright

I was thinking if Santa was really true
And waiting for him while it was raining a white snow
Maybe before the Christmas will finally come
I could see Santa bringing the gifts for everyone

It was 11:00 in the evening
But still, I couldn’t find Santa everywhere
Maybe he just wants me to be surprise
And be happy with the gift that I really desired

Christmas Eve is already here
I can hear choir singing and the bells that ringing
Maybe Santa will finally give me the gift
Or maybe he forgotten me because I’m a theft

Suddenly, I hear a voice laughing
I’m sure that Santa’s coming
I open my eyes and it was really true
That Santa is hear and he will carry me over with this cold snow

I was really happy when he carries me
But why is it I can see my body
And I ask Santa if I’m already dead
Then he answer me with full of sadness

I hen I hug him and say thank you to him
Because finally I already done with the life that I really suffer
Because I was then a poor boy sleeping in the street
And wishing that someday this will be the last cold Christmas that I feltL0

THE HOPELESS FATHER

By: Orlan Doromal Tabuada Jr.

Before, we are a happy family
But it was all lost, because of the tsunami
I thought it was just a small tragedy
But I was wrong, because it almost killed half of the community

During the earthquake and tsunami
I tried my best to keep my family in safety
I even sacrifice my own life
Just to protect them to make them survive

I ran to the kitchen to get my wife’s medicine
But I make sure that they are secured where I put them
But when I was about to go out
Our ceiling was collapsed and totally breaks out

Fortunately, I survive from the tsunami event
But sad to say, my family didn’t
I scream just to call their names
But no one answered me except from my fellow friends

After two days, I decided to find them again
I never let my hope to be erased until the end
Eventhough, many people would say “they are gone”
But I don’t want to quit, maybe I could find even one.
Then suddenly I saw a child
It reminds me of my family, hoping them to be alive
But what will I do if I saw them died?
Maybe I just sit down and cry for their lost live.

A POEM FOR MY EX

Every time you look at me
You always showed that smile to me
I tried my best to respond to it
But I don’t know what happen why I can’t do it.

You always call my name when I’m away
Through calls and text or even to your simplest way
You always make me smile every day
And I did not notice I fallen for you every single day

One day I tell my feelings to you
And you told me that you love me too
I was so happy when I heard that word from you
But I ask myself if that is true?

I wonder why you said that word to me
Well, in fact, it was just a part of your cruelty
I admit that I was hurt
But what can I do if I really meant.

Now that we’re about to end
I want to tell you one important thing
I never regret what I’ve done
Because I believe that my experience has just begun.
